Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions as well as the floor exercises. On the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. In the 2016, Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal in the team event that earned her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being one of the very first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Silver medals were awarded in the individual floor and all-around event. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Also, she was a among the gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who died from cancer. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and would like to expand her signature line of leotards and socks in future. Fierce - a novel she's writing, will be coming out in the year ahead.
